Flex Time Strategies to Make Money

Common Sense Tips, Advice, and References

Be Flexible – They’re Many Ways to Make Money

Many times people get stuck in a dead-end, low paying job.  Yes, getting money in the door is a necessity but don’t make the mistake of not branching out.

Here’s a short list of a couple money-making ideas:

1.  Develop a blog on something you’re passionate about (promote products and services that relate to your interest that help people)
2.  Find a great part time (or flex time) job (maybe a networking marketing company – here’s a great one if you want to check it out … )
3.  Promote a great e-product via an online niche (start your niche search here … it’s what I use to find untapped markets)
4.  Create a typing service for college students

Of course, they’re hundreds of other money making opportunities out there.  Find something that you like and trust yourself to make it happen.  You can do it.

Mobile Marketing — An Untapped and Exploding Opportunity

Many of us continue to look at outside the box ways to make money.  If you’re an entrepreneurial thinker Mobile Marketing might be one of the best opportunities to come around in a long time.

Look at the trends:  More and more people are using smartphones for their daily interactions, internet, primary phone, and businesses.  It’s becoming the primary mode of communication.  Marketing to smartphones is not only smart but a “must-do” if you’re trying to make money via the internet or connect with your prospects.

With that said, I’ve researched a unique program that’s tapping into Mobile Marketing on the ground floor.  It’s well worth reviewing and trying out (plus it has a money-back guarantee that lets you test it for 60 days).     Click here to check it out (the video’s a little intense at the beginning but gets much better).

Don’t miss this great opportunity to make money and get in on the ground floor.

Marketing Online and Offline — You’ll Need a Website

Communicating who and what you are (and what you offer) is essential in the Internet age.  As such, a Website is a must.

If you haven’t ever created one, you have several options to get a high-quality and easy to create/administer website:

1. Use a Domain Hosting Company
Most, if not all, of the Domain Hosting Companies (GoDaddy / HostGator / etc …) offer website packages.  These are easy to set-up, administer, and use.  However, they’re some limitations as well (and it’s a little bit of a pain to have to continue to “log-in” each time you want to make a change).

2. Use a Website Program
This is what I do.  I’m not that technical but my program is.  It’s called XSitePro  and I’ve been using it for years.  Very, very easy to use (if you can type in Microsoft Word you can use this program) and it has the ability (if you want) to add all of the bells and whistles that would cost you loads of money to have a programmer set up for you.  Uploading changes on your website takes only a simple push of a button.  Also, they also have money-back guarantee so you can test it out and return if if you don’t like it.

Regardless of what you use — I can’t stress enough of the importance of having a website or blog in today’s computer age.  No website – no communication – no money.

Tax Day – Pay Less and Put More Money in Your Pocket

Today is Tax Day 2011 for folks living in US.

Most people, myself included, do not want to pay a dime more we need to in taxes.  Of course it’s a “catch 22.”  The more money you make, the more you’ll typically pay in taxes.  However, for the smart entrepreneur, you can lower your tax bill by doing a few simple things such as:

Creating a small business (not only protects your business but allows you to write off many expenses)
Keeping records (of things you buy for your business … computer, software, licenses, etc …)
Contributing to a “retirement plan” (by incorporating you can “pay” yourself a salary and contribute to a pre-tax retirement plan)
Leverage your company to purchase insurance (life insurance, disability insurance, long term care insurance)
Put your car in your business’ name (will let you write off your car payments, auto insurance, etc …)

Don’t just take my advice, I’d highly recommend contacting a competent CPA and an attorney that you trust.  Their advice will more than offset any associated fees and, unlike myself, taxes are their expertise.

Good luck and I hope you keep more of your money in your pockets and not give it to our government to waste.

Do Your Homework & You Can Be Making Money all the Way to the Bank

Sometimes in our excitement to make some extra part time income we get taken. It happens to everyone. We get excited about all of the promises, the big money, the cars, the lifestyle, etc. but forget about all of the work (and luck in some cases) it takes to get to that stage.

My advice: Research these “opportunities” / Go with your gut instinct (it’s usually right) / Ask Questions (if it’s too good to be true – it probably is) / Don’t break the Bank (what’s the required investment and expected return) / Take a Breath (before doing something impulsive – take some time to think) / Think of Market Trends (for example — we’re trying to live healthier lives & nutritional supplements are a huge part of this)

There are some legitimate business opportunities out there but not all are right for everyone. Find one that works for you and turn that part time income into a money machine!

Making Money – It’s All About Attitude

Happy New Year!!!

Are you still looking for the silver bullet to make money? You might want to stop searching the internet for all of the “quick money” deals and look at yourself.

You (and your attitude) control more of your success than you think. If you think you’re beaten, you are. Conversely, if you think yourself rich, successful, and full of joy you’re already half-way there. Yes, you still need the essentials to make money offline and on the web: a great online niche (or product/service), prospects (visitors), profit margins (you need to make money on what you sell or do), volume, and staying power. More prospects / customers / visitors, more often, and spending more money each and every time.

With the right attitude, success will happen more often than not. Control what you can control and don’t worry about the rest.

Here’s to a great 2011!!!

Flex Your Mind – Great Tools to Make Money Offline and Online

You’ve got a great idea, been able to find an online niche, created a unique product or service and know you can make money.

That said, why don’t you double down on it?  What I mean, is why don’t you utilize the full power of the internet and what it offers to explode your product/service offerings by doing webinars and podcasts.  It’s a low-cost way to get your message out and extremely effective.

I’ve been doing a lot of research on how to do this, what (if anything) you need to purchase / implement, and who gives the best advice and training.  One of the best sources that I’ve found as far as information, training, and products is The Internet Audio Guy.  My questions (which have been numerous) were answered very quickly, in great detail, and, in many cases, with low-cost solutions that could do the same thing as the higher-end models.  Integrity is hard to find on the internet and I’ve got to give kudos to The Internet Audio Guy.

Also, for researching Podcasts, you’ll want to Skype and google “recording Skype calls.”  Just make sure if you utilize Skype that you get a good microphone (it makes a huge difference).

Podcasts and Webinars are great tools to make money offline and online.  Incorporate them into your business plan and watch your bank account grow.

Boost Your Image – Get Branded – Make Money Online

You are what your customers think you are.  To make money online you’ll want to follow these simple tips to boost your online image and create or enhance your brand:

1.  Establish an Identity:
Be consistent in all of your marketing endeavors and customer / prospect contact.  Online consumers have too many choices and not enough time to figure out what you do and who you are.  Tell them.

2.  Be Highly Visible
Your customers and prospects need to be able to find you.  Get listed in directories, become an expert in your field (and tweet about it), make sure you website ranks well in the search engines for your specific niche keyword(s).  Remember:  No Customers = No Sales.

3.  Find It / Snag It / Make it Your Own
Model your website / emails / sales pitches after your competition (assuming their making money and doing well).  Don’t steal it.  Customize the idea and framework to your specific online niche and website.

4.  Keep Your Eyes Open (or better yet — keep your customers’ eyes open)
Help your customers move to a state of “action.”  If your website is confusing and jumbled your see a quick exodus by your most valued visitors.  Help your customers help themselves and you’ll make money.

5.  Use Different Marketing Channels
Social Media is the new (and permanent) fad.  Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc …. Leverage these tools to get the word out about your product or service.

6.  Smile
Always remember one of the Golden Rules:  People like to do business with people they like.

Implement these strategies and you’ll be well on your way to making money online!

Here’s to your success.
